Ear defenders are great for:
- Protecting your hearing
Noise levels above 80 dB can cause hearing damage, especially with frequent and/or prolonged exposure. From 110 dB, immediate hearing damage is even possible. Alpine ear defenders are great for preventing hearing damage.
- Aiding concentration
Do you find that you are easily distracted by noises around you while learning, studying or reading? The attenuation offered by ear defenderss can help you concentrate better.
- Preventing overstimulation
Wearing ear defenders dampens auditory stimuli, which is especially useful in noisy environments if you are easily disturbed.
Unlike most inexpensive ear defenders, Alpine Defender earmuffs offer a high attenuation of 26 dB and are extremely comfortable and lightweight. These multi-purpose ear defenders are great for hearing protection while doing odd jobs, partying and playing music. In addition to the Defender earmuffs, we also have an extensive collection of special hearing protection for racing events.
Hearing protection for babies and children is crucial. Their hearing is still developing at that age, after all, and is therefore extra vulnerable. Ear defenders protect hearing in noisy environments and can help with taking a nap on the move or in crowds, as well as preventing overstimulation. For babies and children, we have the Alpine Muffy Baby and Muffy Baby Classic ear defenders, and for children aged 3 to 12, there are the Alpine Muffy Kids.
